How Industry 4.0 Will Change Your World in the Next 5 Years

Join us for an exciting, leading edge presentation that will be of interest to everyone.

The New Berlin Chamber of Commerce has put together a highly regarded panel of experts to provide you an overview of what to expect in the years ahead including the latest details and developments from the new Foxconn development in Pleasant Prairie.

The next Industrial Revolution, often referred to as Industry 4.0, will have a major impact that crosses virtually all business classifications and industries. It will have far-reaching effects on each of us over the next 5 to 20 years. From the way goods are manufactured, shipped, sold, paid for, consumed, serviced, and recycled or repurposed, the coming Industrial Revolution will reshape the world as we know it today.

How big of a change will it really be?
Think about the vast changes that occurred during the last three Industrial Revolutions with the advent of steam and water power, electricity and assembly lines, and most recently, computerization.
Industry 4.0 will not only revolutionize the way things get done, it will even challenge our ideas about what it means to be human. In his book, The Fourth Industrial Revolution, Professor Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, describes the enormous potential like this: " The changes are so profound that, from the perspective of human history, there has never been a time of greater promise or potential peril".

Guest Speakers include industry expert Matt Kirchner of Lab Midwest and Mike Shiels, Dean of Applied Technology at Waukesha County Technical College.

Representatives from the School District of New Berlin have  been invited to share how their programing is also changing and adapting to better prepare students for the jobs and technologies of tomorrow.

We are excited to offer you this presentation to get you thinking strategically about the changes, challenges, and opportunities that lay ahead.
