Mequon, WI – March 14, 2017 – LAB Midwest announced today that it has been named the exclusive educational distributor of SynDaver™ and SynAtomy™ brand products offered by Syndaver Labs of Tampa, Florida.  This exclusive appointment applies to the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

SynDaver Labs designs and builds the world’s most sophisticated synthetic human tissues and body parts.  The SynDaver Human bleeds, breathes, and employs hundreds of replaceable muscles, bones, organs, veins and arteries – all made from materials that mimic the mechanical, thermal and physicochemical properties of live tissue.  SynDaver Labs’ validated technology is used to replace live animals, cadavers and even human patients in medical device studies, clinical training and surgical simulation.

“We are excited to announce our new relationship with SynDaver Labs,” noted LAB Midwest CEO Renee Kirchner, who herself holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering.  “The SynDaver product so closely mirrors genuine human tissue that it must be seen and touched to be believed.”

Featured on such notable programs as Shark Tank and Mythbusters, SynDaver’s products are made from water, fibers and salts, each validated for mechanical, chemical, thermal and dielectric properties against the relevant living tissue.  In fact, SynDaver Labs maintains the world’s largest database of LIVE tissue.

In the coming weeks LAB Midwest will make SynDaver’s products available for review by its customers.  The products have applications ranging from Medical Schools to Health and Nursing Programs, EMT and Paramedic programs and even Veterinary Medicine and Vet Tech programs.
