IGNITE: Mastering Manufacturing by Amatrol is a foundational skill development program designed to stimulate student interest in today’s Advanced Manufacturing / Industry 4.0 careers. IGNITE’s project-based learning curriculum is broken down into 6 modular courses, with imbedded capstone and mini-projects. Each course can be completed in one semester, providing flexibility for 1, 2, or 3-year programs. All IGNITE courses include stimulating interactive eLearning lessons, computer simulations, design projects, and hands-on skill training using Industry 4.0 technologies.

In addition to the skills-based curriculum, the program was designed as an all-inclusive learning experience for students. So imbedded in the coursework are career exploration activities, project-based learning to develop critical thinking and teamwork, as well as the opportunity for students to sit for occupational certifications through the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) and the Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA).

The IGNITE: Mastering Manufacturing program was developed in collaboration with three Manufacturing USA Institutes (LIFT, America Makes and MxD) and funded in part by the U.S. Department of Defense.
eLearning: All Amatrol training systems have interactive, multimedia eLearning courses and modules tied to these learning concepts. This curriculum utilizes text with voiceovers, pictures, videos, stunning 3D animations, interactive quizzes and knowledge checks, pre- and post-quizzes and more. Through partnerships with key industry leaders and leading educators, Amatrol developed the right balance of knowledge to train learners to work in their chosen field.
