Certifications
Our technical education programs prepare students and workers to receive industry-recognized certifications that can result in higher wages, career advancement, and increased value to any employer or school. Our solutions are the only ones that will fully equip students with the knowledge and hands-on skills to sit for these assessments.

SACA
The Smart Automation Certification Alliance (SACA) is the certification body for Industry 4.0 certifications. With standards developed and validated by industry, SACA’s certifications assess an individual’s skills in advanced manufacturing technology, cyberphysical systems, IIoT and industrial data acquisition and analytics.
There are three levels of certifications:
- Associate
- Specialist
- Professional
Certified Production Technician – CPT & CPT+
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) has developed the CPT and CPT+ to assess and certify individuals in a wide range of production skills under four categories:
- Safety
- Quality & Measurement
- Manufacturing Processes & Production
- Maintenance Awareness
CPT+ certifications add an optional hands-on portion to the CPT. Learners are assessed using the Amatrol Skill Boss. Learn more about the CPT+ certification.
Certified Logistics Technician
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) has developed the CLT to assess frontline material handling workers’ knowledge of supply chain logistics. This certification is applicable anywhere supply chain management is vital: warehouses, distribution centers, factories and transporters. The program is broken into two levels:
- Certified Logistics Associate (CLA)
- Certified Logistics Technician (CLT)

Certified Forklift Technician
The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) has launched the CFT to certify individuals for skills in the repair and maintenance of forklift vehicles. This certification was developed in partnership with the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) to ensure total industry-relevance.
NIMS
The National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS) provides individuals with certifications in CNC and Industrial Maintenance. NIMS has backed Amatrol’s CNC Machine Operator program as ample preparation for their CNC Machine Operator certifications. NIMS has also endorsed Amatrol’s eLearning library as providing the knowledge and skillsets individuals need to sit for an Industrial Technology Maintenance certification (ITM).
