How schools are preparing students for machining careers
June 20th | 12pm – 5pm | Mequon, WI
CNC machinists get to work on some of the most cutting-edge technology making components for . . . well, everything! These are high-wage, high-demand careers, but it's going to take collaboration between education and industry to create awareness and training programs to prepare our students for these careers.
At the open house, you'll walk through the experience of a student learning machining skills – part design, CAD/CAM, machine setup, programming, milling, turning, robot integration, and part inspection.
You'll get to see and demo CNC machining simulators, mills and lathes made for the classroom (with FANUC controls), robot-tended machining centers, 3D scanners for inspection, event a 3D printer + CNC mill all-in-one machine!
