This summer, take advantage of hands-on instructor training courses at no cost to you in locations across the Midwest. Each course is focused on equipping you with the skills and tools to prepare the next generation of STEM and workforce talent.

Industrial Automation

Dates: June 10 – June 12, 2025

Location: Hawkeye Community College (Waterloo, Iowa)

This three-day training is designed to build your confidence in teaching FANUC robotics. You’ll get hands-on experience programming a FANUC robot using a CERT cart, learn to navigate ROBOGUIDE simulation software, and explore how to bring these tools into your classroom.

What to expect at training? 

  • Learn about the latest technologies and career trends in industrial automation and Industry 4.0
  • Train directly on a FANUC CERT cart, ROBOGUIDE software, and collaborative robot systems
  • Explore industry-recognized certifications and how they benefit students.

By the end of this training, you’ll have the tools and knowledge to confidently teach FANUC robotics, with practical strategies for classroom setup, curriculum planning, funding, and building industry partnerships.

Williams Bay FANUC SACA

Industry 4.0 Fundamentals

Dates: August 6 – August 8, 2025

Location: Bismarck State College (Bismarck, North Dakota)

This three-day training will prepare you with the tools and knowledge to teach Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing in the classroom.

What to expect at training? 

  • Gain a deeper understanding of Industry 4.0, including technologies, trends, and career pathways for students.
  • Get hands-on experience with cutting-edge training systems used in classrooms today.

Tabletop Mechatronics Smart Factory

IGNITE: Mastering Manufacturing

Dates: August 19 – August 21, 2025

Location: Delton Kellogg High School (Delton, Michigan)

The IGNITE Mastering Manufacturing program is an all-in-one solution designed to prepare students for careers in advanced manufacturing while equipping educators with a clear roadmap for success. At this three-day training, you'll get firsthand experience with the most comprehensive approach to teaching advanced manufacturing, giving you hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology and insights into not only why the state of Michigan has invested in these skillsets but recognizes that they're essential to our future.
