Matt Kirchner, President of LAB Midwest, has been appointed to the Board of Trustees for the American Technical Education Association. Kirchner, who also serves as the Host of The TechEd Podcast, takes on this role as part of his mission to secure the American dream for the next generation of STEM and workforce talent.
For 23 years, Matt led Midwest manufacturing companies and witnessed lives fundamentally changed for the better by the career opportunities in the skilled workforce. Today Matt leads ATS/LAB Midwest, the premier distributor of curriculum, eLearning and training systems for education and industry. In this role, he leads a team of individuals serving businesses and education to help them train up the next generation of students and learners for high-wage, high-demand careers.
He also hosts The TechEd Podcast, a weekly podcast that features conversations with the world’s leading innovators in education, industry, and public policy. The podcast is all about aligning the efforts of technical education and the needs of the workforce, especially around advanced technology and future skillsets.
