The Precision Machine Products Association (PMPA) has released a high impact video to encourage youth to pursue careers in precision machining.  This video was created in response to the growing need to attract youth into career fields that support the Precision Machining Industry.

The PMPA Education Foundation is a charitable organization formed for educational and research purposes related to the Precision Machined Products Industry. Its mission is to promote and fund education, training and career opportunities in Precision Machining.

Says PMPA Education Foundation Board Member and Gateway Technical College President and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Bryan Albrecht, “We are extremely proud to share this video and hope that you will join us in building ‘game changing’ opportunities for youth interested in pursuing great careers in manufacturing.”

The video includes a discussion with Sam Kirkland, who advocates for careers in precision machining while operating a machining center using a FANUC Controller.

Renee Kirchner, CEO of LAB Midwest, FANUC CNC’s Exclusive Education Distributor in four states including Wisconsin, praised the video.  “We commend the PMPA for helping to spread the word about rewarding careers in precision machining and all of advanced manufacturing.”  Kirchner said.
