Pump Working Demonstrator

The Pump Working Demonstrator (102-PDTM2) from Bayport Technical trains learners on the operation of a disc pump. With clear components learners can see how the fluid moves throughout the system.

Learning Outcomes

Learners will be able to demonstrate how a disc pump prevents cavitation and handles a large amount of air entrained in the fluid(pseudo-cavitation/aeration) after using this trainer. This trainer also allows learner to manipulate the suction and discharge valves to control the fluid pressure.

This working demonstrator includes:

• Desk-top model mounted on rigid base (NOTE: rolling cart pictured is available as an option)
• Clear acrylic reservoir
• Clear acrylic volute
• Vacuum gauge on pump suction
• Pressure gauge on pump discharge
• 1 HP DC motor (1750 rpm, continuous duty)
• PVC Valves on clear PVC suction and discharge lines

This unit requires 120 VAC / 60 Hz power.
