Overview

The EDU RoboMill is a combination industrial robot + CNC mill. It combines FANUC industrial robotics, FANUC CNC controls, and a high-performance Levil spindle—all in an enclosed mobile unit perfect for the classroom. This system gives students hands-on experience with robotic automation and CNC machining using the same technology found on the factory floor.
Built with a FANUC 0i-MF Plus CNC control, 15″ QWERTY MDI unit, and an integrated safety operator panel, the EDU RoboMill mirrors real-world manufacturing environments.

How does it work?

You prepare G-codeThe FANUC robot interprets the G-code through a Robot G-code interpreter software option. X, Y, Z  coordinates are translated into robotic movements — including arm positioning and spindle/tool interaction. Additional motion commands, feed rates, and dwell times are handled automatically. You can send G-code directly to the robot’s controller, or upload G-code files for the robot to execute.
