Miller’s OpenBook Curriculum is a web-based platform that enables instructors to teach welding fundamentals aligned to American Welding Society (AWS) SENSE program standards. The software allows instructors to provide downloadable welding labs, monitor learner participation, create quizzes, and report learner performance.
With OpenBook, instructors can teach everything from safety, electricity and blueprint reading, to in-depth courses for every welding process, type, position, material and application. The platform contains an extensive library of modules and courses that can be implemented turn-key or customized to meet your course structure. Because the OpenBook platform is free to educators, it’s an excellent supplemental tool to the curriculum you have in place and to add theory to the hands-on lab exercises students perform.
