AugmentedArc by Miller is a state of the art tabletop virtual welder that uses augmented reality to teach students hands-on welding skills.For beginner to advanced-level weld students, the AugmentedArc system simulates multiple welding processes, blending real-world and computer-generated images into a unique, augmented reality environment.
AugmentedArc is a full system for AR welding. It can teach numerous welding processes, including MIG (GMAW), Flux-cored (FCAW), Stick (SMAW), and TIG (GTAW) on steel, stainless and aluminum. Students learn on a variety of joint types, including Bead on Plate, T-join, Butt joint, Lap joint, Pipe-to-plate, and Butt pipe. The system can be configured for horizontal, vertical, flat and overhead workpiece positions.
Not only will students get hands-on practice will all these welding combinations, the system also provides real-time feedback, post-weld data and and detailed scores for instructors and students.

The AugmentedArc comes with intuitive Teacher Software, giving instructors the tools to create and manage custom welding curriculums, quizzes, and simulation exercises. With features like detailed playback of student welds, real-time progress tracking, and customizable system settings, instructors can tailor the learning experience to meet specific training needs. The software also includes pre-developed exercises and customizable options with courses aligned to NCCER welding levels 1 and 2.
