The T7400 Smart Commercial Refrigeration Learning System from Amatrol is a hands-on commercial refrigeration and HVACR training system for learning how to operate and troubleshoot equipment used in refrigerated display cases, walk-in coolers and freezers, commercial air conditioning, and other refrigeration applications. Students work with a semi-hermetic compressor, two evaporators, smart refrigeration controls, electronic and thermostatic expansion valves, defrost controls, adjustable-airflow fans, and other real-world mechanical and electrical components.

The T7400 expands training into modern smart refrigeration technology, including controller programming and monitoring, Ethernet and Wi-Fi HVACR communications, multi-evaporator refrigeration, and airflow measurement. Amatrol’s FaultPro computer-based fault insertion adds approximately 35 troubleshooting scenarios, giving students hands-on practice diagnosing mechanical, electrical, controller, and system-level problems without introducing faults directly into the hardware.

Amatrol’s virtual trainers replicate hands-on equipment in such great detail that learners will feel like they are using the actual equipment. Learners will perform essentially the same tasks using virtual trainers that they would perform using equipment hardware. Transition from theory to hands-on is a seamless process.
