Help students explore the technologies powering electric vehicles and energy storage systems through hands-on battery and fuel cell investigations.
The eMobility Professional (1801) from leXsolar is a hands-on e-mobility training system that teaches battery technologies, energy storage, charging methods, and fuel cell operation. Ideal for STEM, CTE, engineering, and workforce development programs, the system allows students to compare and analyze the performance of multiple energy storage technologies commonly used in electric vehicles and renewable energy applications.
Using lead, nickel-metal hydride (NiMH), lithium-polymer (LiPo) batteries, and a PEM fuel cell, students investigate battery characteristics, charging behavior, capacity, internal resistance, and application-specific performance. The system includes guided experiments and instructional resources that connect energy storage concepts to real-world electric mobility and renewable energy systems.
